"Vinss-T's
ongoing journey through music began
with piano lessons at the age of 7.
Burning through four teachers, 11
awards, countless performances, and
a year of music theory training, he
developed the musical background that
gave him the skills that he uses in
his dance productions. Not to mention,
he was an active music student in
high school, playing the alto saxophone
in three different concert / jazz
bands, so this further complemented
his experience. All of this musical
practice gave Vinss-T the itch that
drove him into music production later
on.
At
age 13, surrounded by the then-trendy
sounds of dance artists like Eiffel
65, Alice Deejay, and Sash!, he began
experimenting with dance beats on
a Yamaha keyboard. Little by little,
his skills grew to the point where
he produced his first original track
at age 15. At
|
 |
age 17, with the help of a high school
friend, he began playing around with
FL
Studio which introduced him to the
power of software-based production.
He has never turned back ever since
then and is still an avid FL
Studio user, producing a variety
of sounds that he enjoys listening to
such as house, trance, freestyle/breaks,
and hands-up.
Vinss-T's
first released track was a remix of
Tears
of Technology & Serenity - "Higher
Ground", released on 504 Productions
in 2007. Also in 2007 he had two releases
on the Italian digital label Kroton
Sound Recordings: one being a remix
for Vincent Blaise - "Chlamydia" and
another being his first original release
entitled "Annapurna". His remix of
Tears
& Serenity - "Rain" was his second
digital release on 504 Productions,
in 2008.
Vinss-T's
third release on 504 Productions,
second original track, and first vocal
track, was "Cold".
This track was a dance-pop collaboration
with freestyle vocalist Amy
Tori and rapper 2da
West in 2009. It features remixes
by Tears
of Technology / Dan
The Man, and Yuri & Christy (aka
Wild Ace).
Currently,
Vinss-T's interests lie in collaborating
with real artists with ongoing projects.
He wishes to build on strong new musical
talents with vocalists and fellow
producers who live near his home in
Greater Toronto, Canada. Vinss-T plans
to continue doing whatever he can
to reach out to dance music lovers
and express his love for music though
productions."
Vinss-T's
latest remix can be found on the latest
promo CD from Milk
Inc entitled "Storm".
